Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the Academic Year 2024-25 in the History and Philosophy of Science

The recipients will spend the academic year at the institute pursuing their own research project while interacting with faculty and students.

The Fellowship will be awarded based on scholarly distinction and academic promise in the field of history and philosophy of science. Candidates must hold a PhD degree in a relevant academic field from a recognized university, awarded after September 2019.

The fellowship awards approximately NIS 94,000 for one year, with the option to renew for a second year under similar conditions.

Prospective candidates should apply by February 18^th 2024, with the following:

• Cover letter stating how your work adds to or interacts with the work done at the Institute (up to one page)
• Updated CV and list of publications
• Proposed research program, specifying its relation to current work (3-5 pages)
• Writing sample
• Two letters of recommendation, sent directly

The Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas is a research and graduate teaching institute in the Faculty of Humanities of Tel Aviv University.
